Foreign UAS Equivalents

Dear all,

After searching fruitlessly, I thought I'd ask on here if anyone knows of an equivalant structure to our UAS's that either the Americans or French employ with their armed forces for undergraduates. Sorry I can't be more specific.

Thanks

Not sure about the French, but the US Armed Forces operate a scheme called the ROTC [Reserve Officer Training Corps?] for each of it's services.
The main difference between the Air Force ROTC and the UAS is that anybody in the ROTC has committed themselves to service in the USAF, whereas those in the UAS are not bound by any service contract.

This is what I've been lead to believe, anyway, please correct me if I'm wrong.
