How about a picture of a dog flying a Hercules?

He looks like he really is following his nose!

He's just lying in wait for the white-hatted mong he has to walk around the camp on a lead all day to come wombling by.

Dog in Flight Deck
 

This appears to be the eagerly awaited configuration where the flight crew of the future was to be one pilot and one dog.
The pilot's job was to feed the dog, and the dog was there to bite the pilot if he touched anything.

I thought the correct crew complement was a Pilot, a Monkey, and a Dog. The Pilot's only duty was to feed the Monkey, the Monkey flew the aircraft, and the Dog saw to it the Pilot did not interfere.

Never flown with a dog.
