ALLAN MCEWAN LOVE
My father, Allan Love, flew various types of fast jets (mostly Lightnings) in the RAF, and later for BAe (or BAC as it was then) in the 1970's. He was killed in Buccanneer XT285 (with Roy Bigland) at West Freugh on July 5th 1978 whilst working on the Tornado avionics programme. I'd love to hear from anyone who has any recollections whatsoever of my father and the work he was engaged in.

Andy,
Although I didn't know your father I would suggest you also post a notice or contact the webmaster on www.lightningpilots.com and I'm sure you will strike lucky. Good luck. |
Andy,
I have a Buccaneer contact who was at West Freugh at the time of the accident; I might be able to put you in touch with him. PM me. FW |
