Air Force Songs

Does anyone have the words to those old-time songs, such as Shaiba Blues, The Somersetshire and many others? You can always use asterisks if needed! John Purdey

Now that there is a 'no tolerance' policy of swearing, it will be difficult to populate this thread.

John,
I've got a copy of the Airman's Song Book (ed Ward-Jackson & Leighton Lucas, 1967) which has both in. Either PM me for a scan or search amazon!

Good Luck!

I am not certain on this but I think you will find that the mods cleaned up a thread yesterday that had 'c' words in it. If Danny banned swearing I don't think he would like that. I certainly haven't seen a zero tolerance mentioned.

While we're here does anybody know the words to a song, the gist of which was about a newly wed guy whose wife had several false limbs. I well remember Poison Parker giving it his all at 228 but I'm less sure of the words. I reckon the last line was:
"so I slept on the chair, 'cos there was more of her there....~"
