My wife did that with the laundry basket on the boot of my car. :uhoh:

I never could get the scratches out :*

Tarnished 8th Sep 2005 00:44

Yeah, but the paint on the boot of your car was not spec'd to go through rain/hail/snow at 450 kts, not sure what car you drive but maybe the paint on the bonnet/hood of your car was spec'd for those sorts of speeds:ok:

I think it was the laundry basket that wasn't speed certified :}

Why did you park your car in the kitchen?.

maxburner 8th Sep 2005 11:02

Must be jolly uncomfortable having to wear those ear defnders in that position - or am I having a blonde moment?

foldingwings 8th Sep 2005 11:28

My ex-wife managed to reverse over my suitcase when she was seeing me off on a Det once. Used to think then that it was emotional stress! Now I realise she was pleased to see me go and didn't want my gladrags looking too neat when I went out on the Razz!

rej 8th Sep 2005 12:29

Onan, that will teach you to have a car which is the same colour as the kitchen appliances ....... it tends to confuse them.

SpotterFC 8th Sep 2005 13:39

I believe that, through a change of groundcrew before taxy, a set of defenders once got left on the nose as the ac set off for the active. Sharp eyed air tragicer stopped the line up and the offending items were removed before they were ingested.

Therefore surprised the team still allow this to happen.

Wasn't the picture in one of DASC's publications a while ago ?
