No.1 IOTC

So what are peoples thoughts on the 'New and Improved' Officer Training Course?

Best we await its start before we provide uninformed comment! Oh, sorry! This is PPRuNe!

The staff love it. 33% more teaching time. Less time kicking their heels between Saturday and Monday.

But, PN, dare I suggest that if the product is better then perhaps that is a small sacrifice for the staff who work all hours, all days, all bank holidays currently, anyway. I know, I've been there!

foldingwings, better product may be, I hope so, but at what cost? Shoestring again.

In my day, not at Cranditz, the staff worked Saturday mornings alternate weeks, dogs everywhere, Wednesday sports day, and camps were fun.

Sadists, or maybe masocists, or both, used to join in for fun.

Everything is so serious nowadays.

PN:

I'd agree. Apart from the 99.9 % pass rate! To think of some of those people who burst into tears on their leads in the final exercise, and still graduated along with me.
