Can I start a new thread without the usual suspects spouting b******s

?

glum 26th Feb 2005 10:31

Depends on the topic, but I doubt it...

adr 26th Feb 2005 13:06

I'd like to see that!

If you think it's bad here, well, try some of the boards where they have a rank system for contributors, and promotion is earned on the sole criterion of the number of posts.

Opinion this, opinion that! Average P you get my vote!

I thought this was a rumour network not a gossip column or a place for bald aviators and hydraulic failures to attempt to convince that they have had a personal acquaintance with anything and everything that ever happened in the RAF or the RN. Thank God crossbow has gone to ground!

Agree old chap. Long live rumour, gossip and opinion - but it ain't arf becoming increasingly tedious in the hands of the 'been there, done that, seen it' brigade. Actually, it's not a brigade, more like a small platoon.

hobie 27th Feb 2005 22:20

AP, please tell us your proposed subject is not an "IFSD" story :(

;)

AP,

You cracked it! Well done, old boy!! I have just resurrected this from Page 2; it's the 1st of March; the last post on your thread was on 27th of February and still no bollox from the "usual suspects"!!

You did it, man!!

Splash Coxswain 2nd Mar 2005 07:55

Bugga! One of them has popped up and (given that it is not an interesting thread) is, as usual, talking bollox!

average pilot 2nd Mar 2005 19:25

Splash, I've been told that my origional reply to your post was too short so I've made it a bit longer. The origional reply was:
