RAAF NEWS

Since leaving the RAAF I have never missed reading a copy of RAAF News on the Realview website.
It seems to no longer be available. Anyone with any insight into what's happened.

Thanks

You retired fellas haven't got time for this type of reading. And I am sure there won't be enough pictures for you.

Interesting read. Chipman seems quite polished and certainly has the straight out of central casting look of a fighter pilot.

When I was in the air force RAAF News was known as 'F-18s and Doggies Monthly'.

Incidentally, the Super Hornet flyover 'practice' for Riverfire at midday in Brissy today was fantastic from my vantage point near the Story Bridge…..

Clipped from an iPhone video so not great quality but "you get the picture"

in my day, it was police dog and knucklehead news. Me, a trashy, 13 years in, never got my super model head in once.

Don, we retired drivers
DO have time. We sit on our far NSW south coast properties with nothing better to do than think back at some
of the muppets who mentored us….. BD comes to mind. Now I get to mentor his boy, teaching him everything his dad taught me……nothin.

Thanks LAME2. Will look at that link,

Havoc……..oh….never mind.

Ascend charlie"…….with you about being old. Chipper came to our squadron as a cadet, pre pilots course, on “work experience.” Old man Doug was base commander (not a very good one). Young Chipper would brace up to old Chipper and
throw him a superb bone.

Don…you??? Style??? You were as stylish as a hairy backed Lebo at a bikini contest.
