Indeed, but certain posters seem to have a chip on the shoulder about these things.

Never fear I am here.

Another set of awards that should have gone to the likes of street cleaners with 40+ years of service as opposed to simply for getting promoted off the backs of others. They are a total farce, end off.

Nutty

It’s not ‘end of’ though is it. You’ll be back in December and you know it. 🤣

Same here* (x 2) but congratulations to those listed … even though I have no idea who they are, or what they did to deserve it.

* We both managed to miss all the Jubbly gongs, and our LS&GCs (thanks to the back-dating rules). And it makes no difference to our daily lives.

Yin and Yang.

MPN I’m quite the opposite. I missed the QGJM since I joined in 99, I’ve never been on Ops and I have five medals. Work that one out!

You’re right, it makes absolutely no difference however, I still don’t begrudge people who get rewarded for doing a great job. It’s the same with those moaners every year at promotion lists. I don’t get the sour grapes.

Actually have a lonely GSM in a draw somewhere, not interested in any bits of tin period, the people that should get them as said are those that do the really sh*t jobs for poor pay for a lifetime as some recognition, a mate just got the diamond one as frontline staff of 5 yrs+ ( paramedic )

Is it not also around this time, we see a rank increase for Willy Windsor and Harry Hewitt?
