Spaz, we had two Steeles, a Bob and a John. It's John in the photo, an Observer, Bob was a Wessex driver, but had probably left before you got to Albatross. Bob subsequently flew 737's with Figian, Argosy and DC-9 with IPEC, Shorts test pilot in Ireland.

OOoops - my bad. I vaguely recall meeting Bob Steele as he left with others beginning 1969 when I first arrived at the 'Tross. Perhaps we met briefly during my BATC time as US crew bounced in and out of CERBERUS etc. earlier. I have two photos of Bob Steele first graduates of USN flight school & on Wessex OFS.
