They have to justfy the price of carriers with little to carry, so making them decorate the G7 makes us look proper 'ard.
With regards to Biden. Do I gather that, from Mildenhall, they used the 757 fo the local hop to St.Mawgan?

The fact that BoJo could have used the BAe146 from Northolt to St.Mawgan, rather than his overpainted joyride from STN to NQY, is another matter.

The C-32 and AF1 both flew from Mildenhall to St Mawgan last night. Er, Newquay. Interested to know why they went to Mildenhall first though.

It's good to know that POTUS thinks highly of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary.

nah, its a ferry. With a ro-ro cargo deck. The luxury is superficial. But it's a good fun for 22 hour round trip in between Helsinki and Tallinn.

Both jets flews to ST Mawgan. The 757 went direct, while AF1 went oop norf around Manchester and then down over Wales. Promptly turned left over Dorset and meandered toward the Isle of Wight before tuning back for a scenic run along the Channel coast.

Looking at todays arrivals, can anyone explain why they all seem to do a hold overhead the airfield at arounbd 5-6000' ? I'd have expected them to be afforded the benefit of a straight in approach.

I understand they were shuffling some of the earlier arrivals around to make space. It's become somewhat cluttered with all these shiny white jets.

Looking at FR 24 there's a Voyager and a pair of Typhoons constantly on station off Cornwall 25000/27000 ft. Neither based at St. Mawgan, transiting from their home bases.
Lets hope we get some results out of the G7 for the huge costs involved!

Just out of interest does the PMOA (Prime Minister of Australia) have the airspace and aerodrome "sterilised" for the arrival and departure like POTUS?

I cannot confirm or deny that. But Shark One diverted to Oxfordshire instead of landing at Cornwall and they got an Uber from there!

Why would the PM of Australia be trying to gatecrash the G7, Australia are not in the G7. The seven are USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy and Japan (plus a couple of EU representatives).
