- Sea-Based Ballistic Missile Defense System (AEGIS BMD) - $1 billion

Some interesting "bang for buck" comparisons in these numbers:
- 9 x CH-53K King Stallion - $1.7 billion
- 12 x F-15EX - $1.5 billion
- 30 x AH-64E Apache Attack Helicopters - $825 million
