Is Ukraine about to have a war?
Cui bono is a bit murky. Possibly the coalface information trickling up from mobiks to his blog had value to Ukraine intelligence, and the disclosures were embarrassing to Vlad. Useful idiot comes to mind.
It's not unknown for Vlad's people to take out reporters they no longer want around, but bombing your own rabid fans is generally thought counterproductive.
Of course Vlad will be heaping blame on Ukrainian "terrorists" while the Ukrainians will neither confirm nor deny.

Apparently the Russian propaganda machine shares that thought. And those folks do not say anything that the Kremlin hasn't approved.

Challenger 2 spotted in the woods somewhere in Ukraine. No TES armour fitted.

A precursor of a counter attack?
Joint suppression of enemy air defenses (J-SEAD) by Ukrainian military forces on a large scale against Russians ground based air defenses (GBAD) has near term operational implications.

" Weather forecasters have said that the snowstorm is the strongest to hit southern Russia and eastern Ukraine at this time of the year in 10 years.Warmer weather is expected shortly, which will melt the snow and turn the trenches to sticky mud, the start of a season called “rasputitsa” in Russia and Ukraine, when travel is notoriously tough."

Since eastern Ukraine has just experienced its heaviest snow-fall for 10 years and warm weather is following , producing the inevitable , famous mud, one would have to say that seems unlikely

Grauniad:
Russia’s security forces are confiscating the passports of senior officials and state company executives due to paranoia over potential leaks and defections, the Financial Times is reporting.
Citing several people familiar with the matter, the paper’s Moscow bureau chief Max Seddon writes in a paywalled report:
The increased pressure reflects deep suspicion in the Kremlin and FSB, the KGB’s successor agency, about the loyalty of Russia’s civilian elite, many of whom privately oppose the war in Ukraine and are chafing over its impact on their lifestyles.
A spokesperson for Putin confirmed that Russia had tightened its restrictions on foreign travel for some people workers in “sensitive” areas.

All early 1970's commercial Radio-Spares technology apart from these being surface-mount which was around by the late 70's/early 80's in Western development. From a military perspective, I shudder to think of the reliability of this kit straight off the production line, let alone after years of storage.
The most expensive item there is the milled aluminium chassis and the wiring looms.

25 year woman arrested for murder of Tartarsky.
Where she got the bust, or who gave it to her, and whether she knew what was in waits to be seen. She stayed around near the seat of the explosion asking questions, so may well have been unaware of its contents….
Darya Trepova, a resident of St. Petersburg, has been detained on suspicion of murdering war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky, Interfax reported.
The young woman, born in 1997, was taken to an investigator, the agency's interlocutor said. The investigation has grounds to believe that Trepova brought a box with a bust of Tatarsky with an explosive device in it to a cafe.
