I’ve got two registration plates, PEN15 and 60CK. For dirty minded people, these appear to say something… They were originally purchased when I was married to stop my wife driving my cars.

It used to reside on a Ferrari so obviously the owner’s not as “R8” as he used to be.

Back in the late 70's I used to hitch it up and down to Lossie regularly. Got picked up at Perth once going North, and chatting away to the guy giving me a lift and burst out laughing. Guy says what are you laughing at? I pointed out the reg of the car in front of us EAT 69 L. And it wasn't even anything flash, just a Ford Fiesta type of vehicle.

I can't remember the exact plates, but there's a house near me that has 2 cars with FAA and EASA on them.

Also a Tesla that tries to spell BATTERY, but looks like BUGGERY :-O

Seeing as we've drifted away from aviation related number plates... I was overtaken on the M4 once by a Porsche 911, V8 SUX.

And my Boxster (originally RX03 xyz) sports FLT 51X.

My humble contribution is T33 APW. T being my surname, the 33 being a recognition of my last squadron plus the AS 330 and 332 of which I spent 12.500 of my 17.500 flying hours followed by my christian names initials.
Easy to remember but still cost me £250.

I used to see a 4 wheel drive around Wetherby some years ago with B16 CLT..........it looked like they'd spiced it up to read something very sporty! Lady driver too!!

After retiring from 32 years RAF service, the last 13 of which were spent on 22 Sqn, my wife bought me a number plate starting X22 and finishing with my nickname.

I then had cause to make repeated visits by road to Credenhill but was never brave enough to pitch up at the gates there with that registration!
