Well, until further notice, you’re grounded! We cannot have unauthorised low passes across the Airfield like that. It scares the locals and takes a long time to get the ground staff off the aircraft!

Seems young Simkins took Winston literally about fighting them on the beaches - he was topping up his tan down on the promenade when the flap sounded...

While the Armourers , Refuelers and Mechanics quickly turn round the fighter to get back up there at Gerry, the Pilots have a Rock Scissors Paper game to see whose turn it is next

Came out the clouds at 500 feet and I found I was too close to Croydon for comfort, so nipped hack to Biggin
