Nice try at showing sensitivity to our acrophobes, but it doesn't really provide the full airborne experience. Maybe if we turned it upside down and put it the bottom of a silo. . .

(Apparently this machine, or one of its various model siblings developed by Piasecki, is at the Brandywine Helicopter Museum in Pennsylvania which I visited unexpectedly a few years ago - not always on display, I certainly don't recall seeing it, though we were in a something of a rush...)
