The super cavitation devices out front should let this kite break the Mach twenty barrier , the treadmill runway was made for this beauty .

Heath Robinson engineered this concept for thrust reverse on the Lightning, but English Electric decided to go with the brake chute instead.

A recently declassified photo shows why the DoD has indefinitely postponed the OA-X program.

Thinks it's a bit of overkill? All it was was one Pitot tube blocked on one aircraft in five years.
