Early versions of the trial auxiliary turbo jets fitted to B-29's proved so unreliable that they required their own ride along engineer.

Well, trapping the last wire normally means a hats off, no tea or biscuits chat with the XO, God knows what he will have in store for you...

Well you could try the airspeed was misreading due to water in the pitot system..
