I have no idea what standard of training the Air Corps have been used to, but the US training is less than ideal.

having been exposed to how the US trains their people I was far from impressed and found there was almost zero instruction and certainly nowhere near CFS standard in structure or delivery.

The AC standard is very high - with a smal number of airframes and crews vs a wide variety of roles, it has to be. Attrition replacements are rare so the base level courses like the Heli Conversion Course and the Wings Course have to have an unforgiving standard.

Then I fear a US training course will be found wanting if sending ab initios through...
