USAF Hind aggressor

When I saw the title, my first thoughts were on about the US Army Operational Threat Support Activity Mi24 Hinds (probably the ones acquired from Africa with the help of 160th SoAR MH-47D under Operation Mount Hope III).

Anyhow in this case it’s the USAF having Hinds (ex Bulgarian AF ) at Davis-Monthan AFB, the vendors are Vertol Systems. This company has an interesting inventory of MI24, Mi8, A/MH-6 Little Birds.

Both Heli Expo 2012 and Heli Expo 2017 In Dallas, I saw Cold War Air Museum ex Bulgarian MI24 (my photos below from 2017). Think they were used on the airshow circuit.

The 6th SOS at Hulbert Field did have a Mi8 (along with Antonov AN32) for training allied friendly nations..
