Well, that certainly wasn't the most productive 20 mins of my day so far, but easily the most enjoyable - I'm amazed at the effort some people are prepared to expend just to put a smile on some other peoples' faces - thanks

Someone posted the link elsewhere on another site I frequent, it's only been online a few days.. On the link below is the trailer, the making off, which features the real film alongside the 1/72 scale shots.

And it opens with possibly one of the best marching tunes ever written.

A Spanish production that 'de-Spanified' the He-111s and Me-109s, most commendable. They might have at least blown up Biggin for us and have a 1/72nd scale Section Officer Harvey yell her immortal line, "Don't you yell at me, Mr Warwick!". More intimate scenes would have challenged the most skilled modeller perhaps. Excellent effort all round!

It was Duxford, and yes they blew up one of the Belfast Truss hangars there - the other 3 are now Grade II Listed Buildings.

They also did not have permission to blow it up.

Nutloose,

And I think it was another case of "you were only meant to blow the bloody doors off..." as in they didn't actually mean to blow it up completely. But you are right, they certainly did not have permission!

Great -specially for us in locked down UK relying on German charity for ventilators, not much dount who one the battle of COVID 2020 I am afraid

One of the best starts to any film of any genre -right up there with ever since I was kid I always wanted to be.... a gangster.

Thanks for taking so much time and effort , brightened up my day , I am impressed you didnt go over the top with some of the scenes.

Lovely!! And numerous apperances of S/O Harvey, albeit fully dressed.

I have great admiration for those pilots dog-fighting whilst having a huge acetate rod stuffed up their undersides. 😎
