Many moons ago when I was on Southampton UAS at Hamble I remember that someone at the College of Air Training there had a Triumph Herald with the registration FLY 747. I wonder if anyone still has that?

Dunno about FLY747, but I think BA still reuses FLY747T, last seen on one of their crew buses

I think I know who's Range Rover that is, but I don't think he visits these forums. There is a significant VC10 connection though.

Good for whoever has this on a Mustang!

It was her fiancé (at the time a FAA helo pilot), now husband.

We rather did take the piss!

Nope, I haven't traded my enjoyment of driving in for a pair of slippers, cardigan and pipe..

In traffic near LHR a couple of years ago we ended up following P1 LOT. Probable CivAir.

Same area, similar timeframe, was a dark-skinned gentleman driving S1 NGH

PEN 15 belonged to ex Stewardess and porn actress Fiona Richmond. It was on a Mustang in the 1970’s.

In case it is of interest, I was going through my deceased Father's documents (which seem never ending) and came across a historical BAC/RAND Corp doc relating to the VC 10 project.

Am presuming it is not confidential anymore as it was 1967 and there are no more VC10 flying around.
If anyone is interested in the whole doc then happy to share (just PM me)

I saw VC10 UFO a little while back - not sure if the latter part is the rock band, the TV series or someone saw little green men from Vickers finest

Spotted you, F4 ACE. Think it was a MitchyBushi of some sort. Takes guts, that.
But good to know F4 LTG has a good home.
