Gp Capt John Jennings, DFC, QCVSA - Obituary

Group Captain John Jennings died on 28th November 2019, aged 95, survived by his wife and six children.

Fighter pilot, serving in the RAF from 1943 - 1979, including service in Aden as OC a Tactical Wing of two Hunter FGA9 squadrons in Aden from March 1963 to April 1965. Had previously flown Hurricane, Tempest, Vampire, Venom and Sabre before appointments at the Central Fighter Establishment at West Raynham. After Aden he did 200 hrs on Lightnings as OC at Coltishall, before a posting to Nato in Brunssum and then Mons.

His obituary is in The Daily Telegraph broadsheet today, but pay-walled on line:
