Having discarded the idea of a glider from the roof of the White House as it would crash onto the new tennis courts, serious attempts were made to construct a helicopter from discarded office furniture for the President's planned escape.

.....and to increase range we fill fuel into the tip tanks....on the rotor blades

All was well when we thought radar would just pass straight through and have the signature of a small humming bird. Then we found we could fry a egg on the flat panels at the back in the radiation.

Having struggled to get airborne with a underslung load, It was found easier to have SLF instead
