Nö it was quite easy towing the Aircraft down 5th Avenue, just had to lop 3 foot off the wings.

The test pilots found that it was faster to put the Jaguar prototype on a trailer and drive it from Idlewilde to La Guardia, than to fly it.

Well the MOD contract stated that the aircraft had to be capable of sustained movement off the ground for a period of 5 hours. Looks like job done !
