AIr Force One new colour scheme on cards?
POTUS is after new colour scheme for new AF1...which will be 747-8i
if and if his wishes are met, wonder if rest of DV fleet across the board from 89th AW C-32, C-40A and C-37 could follow suit?? Maybe even the 1st HS new MH-139 could go red white and blue?? Or likewise the 86th AW C-37, C-40 could.
Any thoughts ?
cheers

Will it be just a comb-over?
Ecce Homo! Loquitur...
Interestingly everyone states the current design of AF1 was by Raymond Loewy. Actually, if you look at his proposal, it more closely resembles the Trump proposal. It was Kennedy who had the red changed to blue, because it was his favourite colour - and that of the Democrats.

reminds me of Northwest for some reason................. the current scheme is very distinctive - the new one... not so much
I much prefer the current design....which is the very well known symbol of the American Presidency.
My vote would be to leave it as it is. Actually, as they are (plural).
Does the new paint scheme seem familiar some how....same designer of Trump's Personal Jet maybe?

SASless,
Me too, though I have to confess that I hadn't really considered what it must feel like to be flying around in a huge Democrat schemed aircraft either! Had no idea that JFK's decision was partly down to his party colour.

It looks to me like they used of couple of the later US Air liveries as a starting point, and then didn't go much further. I agree with the other members who feel that the current livery works just fine. It is distinctive, there is no other like it, and it is instantly recognizable....which is everything you want in branding. Don't mess with success.
Look on the bright side - it goes better with Melania's cabin crew outfit:
Look at the really good news.....Hillary will never get to ride in either the old or new one as President!
Wow, what do you know that we don't know?
If she is finally "Lock her up" we should not forget to leave room for all the others "Lock them up"!
To me the new scheme looks like any other airliner. Nothing special about it.
Something special were the older Court Line colors?
