Renrut has drawn his last cartoon.
I got this sad news yesterday, and thought that somebody else would have posted it by now.
The great Al Turner has been beaten, eventually, by his illness.
An absolute gentleman and an excellent air trafficker.

Yes, sad news indeed. A wonderful character, who bore his awful illness with fortitude for many years. Bye, ‘Spoons’ - a sad loss.

I am trying to upload a typical R.ENRUT cartoon. For those who may not know he was infamous for these cartoons which predominantly made light of everyday ATC work.

RIP Renrut, sad news, an excellent boss and drinking partner. I was in Shrewsbury at the weekend and wondered how he was doing as I walked past the Dun Cow.
