Bomber Command. Memorial
The Bomber Command. Memorial in Green Park has been vandalised.
We owe it to all those who served in BC in WW2 to ensure that the perpetrators are caught and convicted.
I propose setting up a fund To be used as a reward for information which leads to their conviction.
I wiil make a substantial contribution, any support out there ?

Tash, you go from camera to camera. Worked in Salisbury. It just depends on how much time and money you want to spend on it.

Salisbury is a lot smaller and less congested. Yes you may strike lucky and find an uncovered face or similarly incriminating image but the amount of footage would be staggering.
People talk about the Police as if everythings too much of a chore. I first heard of this attack on a Police site. The outrage was real, many are veterans.
Sad truth is every investigation is limited by resources available. This just won't attract the budget a state sponsored chemical attack will.

They gave their tomorrows for our todays.....dear god, why? I'd love to talk to these people.....just before I did something unspeakable to them!

The people that did it are probably older than the young men who died ..and for whom that memorial is for ..

Also I note that seemingly by the same perps ( similar timescale and using white paint) that the memorial to WPC Yvonne Fletcher was also vandalised. This might give a clue to the origins of the culprits.

What an extraordinary ignorant and deluded individual this “professor of black studies “ , whatever that is, shows himself to be.
Perhaps he should go to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, ( as I did recently, standing exactly beneath the spots of the detonations) and visit the memorials there. The message I got in Japan, even from survivors, was “ We brought this tragedy on ourselves“, a sentiment expressed to me by many of my German friends about the bombing of Nazi Germany.
And just how does this pathetic individual suggest we should have struck back at the Nazis, who were occupying much of Europe when our backs were against the wall with an enemy intent on occupying OUR country ?
His absurd allegations that Bomber crews were terrorists are, in my opinion, as deeply offensive as are the acts of the s...s who desecrated the memorial.
