What do you mean by “ little-engined Lightning notes” ? There was no such thing!!

Thanks Minnie - so the answer is 11 hours, pretty close to the 10 hour number I recalled. Now all I need is a map and a set of dividers. Technically that would make a single hop to the US west coast feasible from Binbrook.
