Veterans Services Offered to the market

A new thread just started in the other place..... You may be interested.

Long story short, another Brain thingy by the MOD, this time they have issued an invitation to negotiate to three companies, asking them to bid for the re-let of the Mil personnel and pensions contract currently held by CSC (DXC) and to take over the running of Veterans Services.

The companies asked to bid are Capita, CSC and SSCL.

Further information can be found: here .... including a link to the obligatory outrage bus/online campaign.

I don't own this space under my name. I should have leased it while I still could

As it is a re-let, what is the beef? At re-let the MOD will have budgeted at old price plus small percentage. The bidders will all submit bids above the MOD budget.

MOD will try and find more money (and fail). Bidders asked to resubmit, which they will do testing MOD pot. They will also offer to trim the contact and less staff.
