184 Cse 6 FTS Acklington 1968

50 years ago, this bunch of keen young men graduated with their RAF Wings. I wonder how many hours we put together over the years. I'll start the ball rolling with 11000 (mainly Bulldog and Nimrod). Still adding a few new types each year.

Afternoon old dog, what a fine upstanding group of graduates (strangely enough I was looking for a course photo only a few days ago). I'll add my near 14000 hrs (over 11000 on mil rotary and the rest Shackleton and training), although I'm sure a good few of those who went onto civvy street will have considerably more.

Hi Shackman, Seems we are the only 2 still alive (or able to read)? Sadly heard the news of John Laws passing a day or 2 ago.

Must have been just about the last 6 FTS Course ever - I got there in July '68 on posting to 18 San and not a sign of training command around, except perhaps the 30+ year old wooden hutches that were our accommodation!
