The RAF had plastic Jags they used to wheel around airshows and a Tornado, similar to the Chinook they have now and the Boeing that used to be a food Mexican? outlet the RAF bought secondhand.
We redid the Tornado in my Civi past so it could carry stores, it required the wings splitting, the internal scaffolding planks removing and a steel frame replacing them.

Don't know if it's still there but an industrial unit in Dudley used to hold the promotional (plastic?) aircraft they used for displays and recruiting. Used to see them being trundled off to an event on the back of a low loader.

And prior to that Bruggens I believe, that if I remember correctly was a composite of crashed bits nailed onto the Jag fuselage that was used by the Plumbers as a weapons loading training aid. NOT Plastic.

On 20 in 1977 the Plumbers had a prototype Jaguar as a weapons loading training aid, it had a short nose gear door, different airbrakes, and cockpit instruments that would make a Hunter look sophisticated.
