Jenkins - thanks - and an unusual church in that is one of only two churches in England with a detached round tower

Thanks for that, but what happened between 1957 and 1960? The planned Victor's didn't appear.
I heard stories of the new runways cracking and Coningsby closing down again while they were repaired.
