Are BAe really contributing to the British Legion poppy fund?

In the Guardian recently.
https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...revolving-door

But I concede this is mostly about recent times. But something in this article strikes with what we have all contributed to upon back in Novembers PPrune..about the poppy and what it means to us as once serving but now free individuals, and I think also about where we are politically, who we support and who we really.. hate.
PPrunes (this little corner of it) is mostly about air-war, or war, tactics, politics - you cant deny it.
Read the article - I found it interesting and food for thought about the poppy.

* I know some here hate the Guardian, they hate me and they hate the readership of the G, but the paper itself is free, it isn't controlled by a proprietor.. so much in the Telegraph is now sponsored by Bae, or sponsored linked to wealthy oligarchs..it's not right or fair.
No wonder Trump hates the press.
Anyway..free mind? Read.

1. A synopsis would be useful.

2. What is the relevance to the RBL, as this seems something you have plucked from thin air.

3. Finally you could have mentioned the article is by Professor Paul Rogers from Bradford University rather than a Guatdanista. I have met Paul Rogers. He gave a short presentation on his Peace and Conflict Resol course. No mere academic, this was full hands on training. Some students were to negotiate the release of some hostages (other students) held captive by terrorists (more students).

As the negotiators made their way to a remote farm cottage they were stopped and captured by 4 Para and themselves taken prisoner where they joined all the other students similarly captured by this rival group.

The article is indeed worth a read, especially if you are in your last 5 years and have the appropriate skills set for BAE.

You really do spout some rubbish. "Hate" is a very strong word. Personally I don't give any of your hate figures much thought one way or the other.
