Last Friday in November............

Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

Very nice to see Carrie Fisher as a pissed-off mean bitch complete with assault rifle (loosens collar). But err, flying phone booth aside, where's the air-angle here?

Classic film though. The nazis were a scream.

At Last....

That'll be Two Orange Whips then......

Be a quiet old do if it's just the two of us but on past turn outs I guess there will be a lot more of us there than that

Sorry too subtle and tangential....

Ah yes, the Air connection.....

Well ,same time, and place on that last Friday a collection of "Air" linked individuals gather to liaise and catch up

While no actual "Orange Whips" will be consumed much else will and usually is. The OW comment was in reference to one of the FS Net calls that the Army tried to ban...calls of "Orange Whip" from one aircraft in the force getting replies from any others on the net. Even from a JP miles away albeit at considerable height from a former operative assigned new instructional duties...... When they banned OW it went on to Eastenders characters from the day..."Rickay, Shemeela, Sanjay and Biancaaaa" some of the more popular. Same net as the infamous "Red 850 747 throught the overhead East to west FL340 etc etc...."

Anyway to those in the know who do attend it defeated somewhat....
