Voyager routes
Just wondered if any one knows whether Voyager is doing the South Atlantic route yet? Also whether indulgence seats tend to be available on said route with any degree of reliability.

Yes they do, still a twice weekly route.
Passenger Information Line on 01993 896050 or 01993 895861 (Military 95461 x6050 or 95461 x5861) will assist further, don`t think its as cheap as it used to be however. Still a lot cheaper than civvy rates though, Air Tanker have make a living.

Do you mean it costs the MOD more than the charter did?

Thanks for the info, I'm actually interested in getting to and from Ascension Island with the wife and kids so from an affordability point of view it is either indulgence or we're not going! I plan to stay at the Obsidian Hotel when I get there so will not be looking to the MOD for all that stuff.

Technically, no Voyager does not yet fly that route because we have no ETOPS clearance for the military version of the jet. Neither do we have MAA approval to charge for carrying passengers apparently.
However, AirTanker currently operates the single civilian-fit / civil registered AirTanker A332 , without pods, with enticing divvy logo, and indeed flies the route twice a week as detailed above.

If you want a reliable voyager trip, I'd recommend
Good luck to all who sail in her.
Reading that gov.uk blah, I can see why we are spending £1,500,000 PER DAY on this. Such a leap in capability. Amazing? Airliner caries pax, Army bloke say's " It's new and shiny mate".
Hope it is fit for purpose!

Sorry Harry but the "oilfield trash" flight is back on again from Stansted via Cape Verde for crew changes to MPN of the PGS Ramform Titan which arrived Port Stanley at the end of October.
