There are some bum jobs ...

But there again ...

One of the best images I think the RAFAT have released recently and certainly worth sharing here. Red 6 (F/L Chris Lyndon-Smith) smoking white over the Palm Dubai during their current tour of the Middle East

That is superb.

I like the one of them passing that building, superbly framed.

My wife and daughter did tandem skydives onto the Palm a few weeks ago. Fantastic looking views according to the video. Amazing they can operate a jump site there, so close to skyscrapers and inside the zone for Dubai International, although there is I believe a minimum requirement of 500 solo jumps before you're allowed solo on the Palm. The aircraft they jumped from was fully serviceable at the time, so I still don't know why they did it! If you're into skydiving, I can imagine that working there isn't a bum job either.

Jeez, it's changed a bit since I spent some time there. Used to have to get a ferry to cross the river/creek to Deira. Mind you that was in 1966.

You still do. It doesn't look like that though. Only costs one DH!
