San Francisco TV station apologises for broadcasting fake crash pilot names

Read this in the Sunday Telegraph whilst enjoying my breakfast in Scott Towers - almost spat my OJ everywhere - Lady Scott most unimpressed:

KTVU has just learned the names of the four pilots who were on board the flight,” Ms Campbell said. “They are Captain Sum Ting Wong, Wi Tu Lo, Ho Lee Fuk and Bang Ding Ow. And the NTSB has confirmed these are the names of the pilots on board flight 214 when it crashed.

Unfortunately it was an NTSB intern that confirmed the names and they sacked him / her... They seem to have missed the fact that an intern should be monitored by a Manager and it all smacks of a scapegoat..

Should have been promoted for his sense of humour. Shame they missed the assymetric stewardess; Won Hung Lo.
