Picture of Meteor 4

Bought a local auction a watercolour/pastel picture of a Meteor 4 dated Feb 53 signed by artist Gary J.Grace.

The airframe number EE524

Does anybody have any info on the artist or knowledge of the aircraft?

Thanks.

The aircraft served first with 610 Sqn and then moved to 215 AFS.

On 6 May 1954 - now how's that for coincidence - it was exported to Australia after being converted to a drone. I guess it was destroyed sometime later, unless the Aussies kept it for a museum piece. I don't have any Australian serial number details.

There is an artist called Gary Grace in Dee Why (Sydney), but I think he's too young. May be a relie, though.
