It would seem that one VSO had a superb start to the week ...

Me ... With CAV OK ... continuation of building works on our cottage renovation project

How did you start your week ?

I appreciate that some PPRuNers are a bit anti this form of "social media" ... but I think this is a first class initiative in terms of RAF PR ... well played Sir

Coff.

PS. Although I've deliberately depersonalised the entry ... said Officer is a regular on Tw1tter and can be easily found if you wish

Ah, that made me chuckle this morning. A lot of PPRuNers here would have been anti public forums, the internet and even PCs several years ago

P.S. I remember the attitude towards PPruNe form the “majority" when I first joined in 00

By the way nice post though

There's no room there because of all the pilot training that's going on. Besides, they'd be a bad influence on all the IOT cadets.

There's not much pilot trg going on, even when the Tutors come back on line! And IOT didn't seem to be an issue when they were last stationed there, plus the cadets are on the other side of the Rd. And they are still using the DA over Scampton, so it would appear to be a no brainier for them to use the empty hangar and work out of Cranwell........ But hey!

Open a Tw1tter account (It's free ... Use a pseudo/real name as is your wish) ... then "follow" RAF Tw1tter feed and then look at who follows the RAF ... Then follow them ... Simples

Use PC or Smart Phone ... Bob's your uncle ...

PS ... If you type Tw1tter it auto edits to PPRuNe

Could be the last.

Last time the Reds were based at Cranwell it was great for all sorts of reasons, not least the chance to see them practise overhead and for me a full practice in the back of Red 1. However, even when they used the Scampton DA for all their practices, 6 slots a day to let them depart and arrive (so that's actually 12 slots) doesn't half mess up a busy training airfield with Jetstreams and 5 Tutor user units all trying to get in and out as well as fly ccts.

And I think he still PPruNe's as well ....

Just respecting what I thought was the accepted protocol of not mentioning the names of current serving personnel on PPRuNe irrespective of what's on the wider internet ...
