I'd love to but as a PAO for the RBL & a welfare officer for RAFA I'm afraid my vote has already been allocated. Good luck with your mission.

My vote also allocated elsewhere. To many service charities are losing out to H4H.

Sad but true about H4H although it's had more than its fair share of dosh from me via various sponsored events. If it were the panacea for all ills then fine, but it isn't. In view of the outstanding care MacMillan nurses have given so many of my ex-service friends suffering with terminal cancer, they've received my vote this time.

Perhaps the time has come for there to be just one "Umbrella" Services oriented charity?
The RBL has been in existence the longest and could provide much of the admin etc for these "specialised" areas to ensure the best use is made for every pound donated, not lost in each charity with their own admin, advertising, organising and premises to run before anything left goes to the actual cause?

Not knocking the need for the money to help the wounded, injured and affected regain as much normality, just the duplication of effort...

Sorry to correct you, Icare9, but SSAFA Forces Help is the UK's oldest Armed Forces charity; it was founded in 1885. TRBL is a mere stripling having been founded in 1921!
