Puma by the A1198 at 18:20 17/08/11

Just wanted to say bravo to the driver of the puma hovering by the side of the A1198 this evening..

Was superb to watch even if I was concentrating on the road and avoiding everyone else driving by who were more busy watching the debris thrown by your rotorwash

I too saw this, fantastic to watch even if I should have been concentrating on the road a little bit more! Anyone know what it was doing landing in a farmer's field?

There must have been an acute concentration of PPRuNers out last night...I pulled over just outside of Boxworth to watch the approach to landing. Very good show it was too!

Probably just practicing landing in a field. Absolutely normal training ops by the sound of it.
