Pleasant surprise !

13.44hrs today, magnificent sight of 2 x apache's + 2 x chinooks in formation over the village of Dunster in West Somerset, best bit of rotary action i have ever seen in the 20 odd years i have lived here, never see apache's round these parts, many thanks to all, really made my day !

Sounds like the annual jaunt in the West Country
Are they using Merryfield this year?

16.50hrs, the 2 x apache's just flew over Dunster low level, heading in the general direction of Merryfield / Yeovilton .
