Half Yearly Promotions List
Anyone yet seen the 1 Jul Promotions List? I know the list of names would probably not fill the back of a postage stamp these days, but surely there must be some!

I'm afraid that there IS a half yearly promotion list - perhaps you were told that there wasn't to avoid the sorrow associated with telling you bad news about your non-appearance?
I dimly remember something about there not being one this Jul though - or perhaps the madness that is sweeping across Defence has eaten my brain too?
For those with Intranet access - you can prove that my first para is correct by going to http://www.manning.raf.r.mil.uk/revi...f_yearly_1.htm
And for those who can't access Intranet, the clue is at the end of the title!

To be fair, Switchmonkey is right in that there are no flt lt to sqn ldr promotions in the Jan 11 list. However, I didn't think the new policy had kicked in for the other ranks yet.
In any case, they should publish an annual list for the flt lt to sqn ldr promotions and the last one was Jul 10.
But I'm definitely not expecting to be in it anywhere!

MechGov,
No, you haven't won..... 29 and bit years in my case, and I'm sure I haven't won either.
I was at a brief from Manning about staff training for Officers (ROAD?) a few months back, and I didn't fit anywhere on their "legacy" tables. I did point out that I had passed the C exam and OCC (not JOCC....!!), but I mainly got puzzled looks.....!!!
