Oh good - I've got far more hours in the DC10 but my great love was the Tristar - both military and civil.

You can always come round my house K.

See you there . . .

Date for your diaries

The RAF Flight/Air Engineer 70th Anniversary weekend will take place in Lincoln the weekend of the 17 September 2011.

Contact any of the aforementioned for details of how to join the association and the venue.

An EPU/"meet n' greet" event will be planned for the Swindon/Brize area for the middle of March. Details in the New Year.

Thanks K.

Err, since I'm now a member, do I get to see the minutes of that huge gathering in the metropolis Doncaster upon Ice?

Happy Christmas and hopefully a New Year containing more hope for the future than we've all endured this Annus Horriblis.

12 March 2011 Swindon EPU

The next event for the association will take place in Swindon on the above date.

Please contact any of the committee contacts posted earlier for details. Suffice to say we plan to meet at central location and then explore the wonders of this very pretty Wiltshire county town........

It is hoped we will have the RAF Flt & Air Engineer website up and running in the next month or so.

Meet and Greet

Guys

Just as reminder the first association event is taking place this weekend. Two of the committee are away however there will be a book open for potential members to join and reserve a place for the anniversary weekend in September.

Enjoy

It was good to see the boys again on Saturday 12 Mar. Not enough turned up, but those who did enjoyed several sherbets together with a healthy slice of BS. Lights were swung and sandbags sat upon - excellent! Then off on the town in small groups so as not to frighten the horses. The thought police will catch up with you eventually Nick Nicholls.

Glad to hear it went well.

If you are unaware there exists a Face-book group page as a pre-cursor to the web page(imminent). Already a happy band of nearly 60 current and ex serving types are members.
Some recruitment-alas for non flying jobs-already looking like it may be underway on the page too.

Dave Kildea will be able to help........... if you can find his profile.......
