Smile Map from Helicopter

I was out walking the other day when an RAF Helicopter flew past me very low. As it went past a piece of paper fell from it which later turned out to be a map. I won't tell you the type or which way it was heading as I don't want to get the crew into trouble.

Anyway as I was later looking at the map I noticed that there are symbols that look like jets near some towns. Can anybody please tell me what they mean?
Also has anybody else lost anything embarrassing from your aircraft be it helicopter or jet?

ps. If you want your map back as I know where you were going please pm me.

Fuel tanks, canopies and various underslung loads have gone south over the years, to name a few.

They're the ones everyone gets to hear about!

Chemtrail release areas. Soporific agents are released to ensure that the populace remains mild and compliant to NuLabor.

There are more of these oop Nawth than in the educated South, as the FNM*s are a stroppy bunch!

BEagle seems to have hit the nail on the top of the nail, but an alternative conspiracy theory exists:

1. Aircraft should not low-fly over built up areas.
2. Aircraft low-flying therefore go around the built up areas.
3. These "choke points" become more congested than other wide open spaces.
4. The symbols show a preferred direction of travel, to minimise aircraft bouncing into each other.

An airborne one-way system, if you like.

But getting back to the question - they are 1 way streets for mil aircraft. They show the direction you should pass through choke points e.g. between towns or high ground so you do not meet a friend comming the opposite direction - fast. Hope that helps?

Is "Really Annoyed" going to go from post to post posting about how the RAF 'damaged' his property?

Since helicopters don't need maps it can't be a real helicopter drivers map anyway.

I was always told they don't need maps because if they get lost they can always stop to check the signposts or ask the way.

He should by now have pushed another 'Tinplate Cop Car' out of his way.

We should rename him = AnnoyedArmageddon

He should have completed his mission by Saturday week.

7 Targets - should he choose to accept it?
