Help the Heroes - Heroes Bike Ride 1st June 2008

Well done to all those who completed the Heroes Bike Ride today at the Cenotaph and Horse Guards, especially those that made the journey from Normandy. The Heroes Bike Ride has already had in excess of £1.5m pledged to go towards a new rehabilitation swimming pool and gym at Headley Court. Follow the link below for more details:

Brilliant effort, brilliant and a better cause you'd be hard pressed to do it for. =D>

Big Battlefield Bikeride

I was on the bikeride and it was a truly amazing experience.

The injured servicemen who rode the 350 miles are a true inspiration - one using only his arms (rory mackenzie).

Please give generously, here is my website - it all goes straight to the H4H account.

PS the reds did a fly-past as we left Pompey Dockyard, HMS BULWARK picked us up at dunkirk and landed us on the beaches at Dover using the landing craft, and the army provided all the ceremonial duties. A great tri-service effort.

Does anyone know if there will be one next year?

Would love to do it - would be educational and quite humbling to do as well as a good way to raise money for a very worthwhile cause... was too late this year
