47 Sdn. 70 Sdn. C-130 Ethiopian Painting.
I’ve acquired the signed print below from a relative’s house move. If there is anyone with a personal interest, and who may like to have it, a donation to the RAF Benevolent Fund - and it’s yours.
Signed by Wilfred Hardy Guild of Aviation Artists. C-130 Serial 181. Operation Bushel Ethiopia 1985. Badges shown are Royal Corps of Transport, 47 Sdn. winged AD ?? and 70 Sdn.
Glassed frame is 30 inches by 24.

How can we set this up?
You're in Norfolk, I'm in Peterborough. I think we could probably work out the logistics.

forget,
I would be very happy to hang your picture on a wall in my house. I served on LXX Sqn at Lyneham in the late 90's and have many fond memories of my time in Wiltshire. Your print is just the ticket to take me back to happy days on Albert.
Cheers

Good idea. Anyone there from Wittering? PM me and I'll drop it off at the Guard Room. Stick it into the system (In my day we'd have used the Station Flight Anson ) and get it to 47/70 Sdn for a 'Brains Trust Night' auction.
Sorry A SHUFFLE - but it's yours if Wittering goes all coy.
