Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

Another year, and a shitty one at that, slides by. Terry Gilmore, Terry Gilmore, Terry Gilmore. If I say your name you are not forgotten. The same goes for the rest of the crew. How we laughed as young men who would live for ever.

I knew some of that crew very well indeed, and would undoubtedly have got on well with those who were relatively new to the Fleet then. Band of Brothers was a good description of Ascoteers.....a great shame that this element of that fine cabal had their lives cut short. Glass duly raised, and BZ to all those who keep 193's last crew memory alive.
