More sad news. Thoughts now with the families. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. A fast and complete recovery hoped for the survivors. The RAF Regiment has done and continues to do dangerous but essential work on behalf of us all. You do honour to our service, we thank you all and wish you a safe return to your homes. Respect!

Ever since August 2006 I have had a healthy regard for the stirling work done by the guys at KAF. Gutted to hear the news, absolutely gutted.
My sincerest thoughts to all the family, friends and colleagues.

I was in Kandahar in december and january, and I know that thanks to the RAF Regiment, the Airfield is a "peaceful area", because the soldiers do a great job outside. I'm sad tonight, and my thoughts are with the family.

Thommo, never met you but as a fellow reservist your passing has touched me deeply. It is often said that some one was too young to die. Some one told me yesterday that I was too old to go. Well you went and you were two years older than me. You said you went to make sure that Afgan women would have the same opportunities in life as your daughters. For that I have utter respect.
I salute you, Sir.
